It was the conversations on the school bleachers when they knew this was different. They had known each other all through high school and shared mutual friends. But something about that conversation, a year after Jake had graduated and in the middle of Lyndsey’s senior year, as they sat, reconnecting, that they knew. They knew that this was different than every other conversation they had ever had. They knew that something about that conversation held a vision of a future and a promise of living the rest of their lives together.  

From then on, they relentlessly supported each other. Through job changes, nursing school, and the beginning of a family, they never left each other’s side. Lyndsey is the type of girl who has the world at her feet and the biggest dreams in her heart. And Jake is the perfect compliment to Lyndsey – supportive, patient, and the sense of humor that can light up Lyndsey’s face. Their next chapter will begin in July with the best day surrounded by family, friends, and their son.
